ST. CLAIR SHORES – The custom of transforming Blossom Heath and Wahby Park is still going strong. If you are not aware, the city of St. Clair Shores turns Wahby Park into a holiday wonderland. The park is located at 24800 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI. Using lights, turn the buildings and trees into dazzling holiday displays for everyone to see. The park is illuminated with holiday wonder by the various colored lights. It’s something to see this holiday season.
At the same time, Blossom Heath is hosting the annual “Tunnel of Lights” event. Located at 24800 Jefferson Ave, St. Clair Shores, MI, just behind the Blossom Heath Inn. The event runs from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
On the Friday following Thanksgiving, the tunnel of lights is turned on. Ever since the holiday lights were turned on, people have been flocking to see the display. Some have driven the road that runs parallel to the park and leads to the St. Clair Shores Pier, while others have strolled the path through the tunnel of lights to observe the various displays.
The holiday light display is not the only event that is happening at Blossom Heath this month. For the “Tunnel of Lights” event, the St. Clair Shores Parks and Recreation department has a lot of activities planned for their visitors. Who does not enjoy live music and food trucks?
Beginning on December 7th, the hot chocolate and cookies will be sold Thursday through Saturday in support of St. Margaret’s MCWARM Organization. Also will be on sale on December 23, 2024.
