St. Clair Shores Tree Lighting Ceremony December 6

ST. CLAIR SHORES – With the holidays in full swing, the city is celebrating the season with their annual “Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.” The event will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024, and is open to the public. The event will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at St. Clair Shores City Hall, located at 27600 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI.

Attendees of the “Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony” will have the opportunity to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus and watch the ceremonial turning on of the city’s Christmas tree. There will be a petting zoo for the kids and the kids at heart and a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. There will be performances by the St. Clair Shores Community Chorus and the Casali School of Dance.

Along with free hot dogs, there will be arts and crafts and hot chocolate (inside the city hall). The audience will be treated to holiday music, and there will be a Beanie Baby toss.

In collaboration with Cops for Kids, the Cool City Committee will be gathering toys for children ranging in age from newborn to fifteen.
